Asian Gourmet Food was founded by Maria, a Vietnamese woman with a deep connection to her roots. She brought with her a treasure trove of culinary wisdom, passed down through generations. The heart of our offerings lies in her grandfather's recipes, which have stood the test of time for over 100 years.

Jose joined Maria in 2004 and quickly became head chef. When Lorie and Jacob bought the restaurant from Maria, Jose was promoted to executive chef, and he makes all of the sauce for both stores. His son, Jose Jr, our lead server for 5 years is now the head chef in Melbourne, where Jacob continues to manage the "mothership." Lorie and Jose started up the new location in Palm Bay in 2024.
